    betinternet.com statement re: suspension of all horse racing in the UK

The Directors have noted the recent announcement that horse racing has been
suspended for seven days in the light of the current outbreak of foot and
mouth disease. As less than 10 per cent of betinternet.com's turnover is
represented by wagering on horse racing, and the company does not offer horse
racing betting on its internet site, the Directors believe that the effects of
a ban on horse racing will be more than off-set by the increased turnover
being seen by online wagering on football.
