CHANGE IN DIRECTOR'S SHAREHOLDING


Mountview has today received notification from Mr. Duncan Sinclair (Chairman)
of the following change to his interests in the ordinary shares of the
Company:

Sold from beneficial interests: 3,959 ordinary shares at £28 per share on 11
July 2001

The shares were sold to Frank and Daphne Sinclair Grandchildren's Settlement
Trust of which Mr. Sinclair has a non-beneficial interest.

Mr. Sinclair's total interest (beneficial and non-beneficial) in the ordinary
share capital of Mountview thus becomes:
