Mountview Estates PLC ('Mountview' or 'the Company')


On 25 January 2005, it was announced that Mrs E. Langrish-Smith (the wife of Mr
K. Langrish-Smith (a director of the Company), Mrs S.M. Simkins and Mrs A.
Williams (all substantial ordinary shareholders of Mountview) had each received
6750 ordinary shares of the Company by way of a dividend from Viewthorpe Limited
('Viewthorpe'), also a Mountview shareholder.


For technical reasons, this dividend has had to be reversed. Consequently, on 28
February 2006, Mrs Langrish-Smith, Mrs Simkins and Mrs Williams each returned
6750 Mountview ordinary shares to Viewthorpe. As a result, their Mountview
shareholdings are now as follows:
