FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MOLINS PLC
Annual General Meeting
At today's AGM, Peter Byrom, Chairman of Molins said:
'The operating performance of the Group is broadly matching our expectations.
'As previously announced, the Scientific Services division has experienced a
slow start to the year which will lead to a decline in performance in the first
half compared to the equivalent period in 2006, but with the prospect of some
recovery in the second half. Tobacco Machinery is benefiting progressively from
its restructuring. The Packaging Machinery division is expected to progress in
the year supported by its strong order book, the delivery of which is
significantly second half weighted.'
