MULBERRY GROUP PLC (the 'Company')

ISSUE OF EQUITY
Following satisfaction of the relevant conditions set out in the Company's
articles of association, the Company has converted the 8,000,000 B Preference
Shares of 5p each issued to Challice Limited under the subscription agreement
announced on 17 August 2000 into 8,000,000 ordinary shares of 5p each.
The Company has applied for the ordinary shares arising on this conversion to be
admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock
Exchange.
These ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of
the Company and dealings are expected to commence on 23 April 2007. The issued
share capital of the Company following this announcement is 57,014,505 ordinary
shares of 5p each.
