MULBERRY GROUP PLC (the 'Company')

ISSUE OF EQUITY
The Company has applied for 61,977 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company,
which were issued pursuant to the exercise of share options, to be admitted to
trading on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange.
These ordinary shares represent options which employees have decided to exercise
as follows:-
8,508 at the option price of £1.345 pence
28,469 at the option price of £0.395 pence
25,000 at the option price of £0.53 pence
The Directors of the company have approved the allotment of the shares.
These shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the
Company and dealings are expected to commence on Tuesday 9 May 2006. The issued
share capital of the Company following this announcement is 48,953,030 ordinary
shares of 5p each.
