Notice of Annual General Meeting and update on the full year results announcement date
In accordance with the Company's articles of association and company law, it is necessary for the Company to hold its next Annual General Meeting (the "AGM") prior to the end of September 2020.
Mulberry therefore announces that the AGM will be held at 11.00 a.m. on Monday, 28 September 2020 at Mulberry's office at 30 Kensington Church Street, London W8 4HA. As a result of the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic and in accordance with government guidance, the AGM will be a closed meeting and convened with the minimum quorum of two shareholders present.
The Notice of the AGM is being posted to applicable shareholders and will shortly be available on the Company's website at https://www.mulberry.com/gb/investor-relations/reports .
As announced on 8 June 2020, the Company had anticipated the release of its audited results for the 52 weeks ended 28 March 2020 (the "FY20 Results") during August 2020. Due to complexities resulting from both the Company's and its auditor's staff working remotely, the completion of the audit and the release of the FY20 Results will now take place before the end of September 2020. Consequently the Notice of AGM does not contain resolutions concerning the FY20 Results or the appointment of auditors for the Company's current financial year which will be covered in a separate shareholder general meeting convened in due course following the release of the FY20 Results .
