MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK


On 30 September 2004 Murray Income Trust PLC purchased for cancellation 7,174 of
its own ordinary shares at 452.39p per share.

Following the transaction the Company's issued ordinary share capital is
68,860,284 ordinary shares of 25p each.
