MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK


On 8 October 2004 Murray Income Trust PLC purchased for cancellation 50,000 of
its own ordinary shares at 465.39p per share.

Following the transaction the Company's issued ordinary share capital is
68,802,046 ordinary shares of 25p each.
