MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC
The Board of Murray Income Trust PLC ('the Company') has agreed with Aberdeen
Asset Managers Limited ('Aberdeen') the appointment today of Charles Luke as
co-manager of the Company, working with Anne Richards. Ms Richards' current
co-manager of the Company's portfolio, Gary McAleese, has resigned from Aberdeen
to take up another appointment in the industry. Charles Luke, who joined
Aberdeen in 2000, is a Senior Investment Manager and part of Aberdeen's
Pan-European equity team. Aberdeen's investment approach is a team-based
process, drawing upon fundamental analysis of individual companies and the
portfolio management style of the Company will remain unchanged.
