Resignation of Non-Executive Director

8 December 2017

The Board of Murray Income Trust PLC (the "Company") announces that Mr Michael Balfour has decided to resign as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 8 December 2017.

As a result of the merger of the Company's Manager, Mr Balfour found himself on the boards of two companies managed by the same management group.

While the Board does not believe that Mr Balfour is any less independent as a result of the merger, under the UKLA Listing Rules he has ceased to be regarded as independent. Accordingly Mr Balfour has chosen to tender his resignation.

Neil Rogan, Chairman of the Company, commented: "We are sad to lose Mike as a non-executive Director, he leaves with our best wishes and thanks for the strong contribution he has made in his time on the Board".
