Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of Murray Income Trust PLC (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie Eastment as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 2 August 2018. Stephanie was appointed after a search conducted by an independent recruitment consultancy.

Stephanie is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and a member of the Technical Committee of the Association of Investment Companies.

Neil Rogan, Chairman, commented on the appointment:

"I would like to welcome Stephanie to the Board. Stephanie has worked in financial services for over 30 years, most recently as Head of Specialist Funds Company Secretariat and Accounts at Invesco Perpetual, and brings with her a wealth of investment trust experience. The Board looks forward to benefiting from her industry knowledge and technical expertise."

Stephanie Eastment is beneficially interested in 1,225 shares of the Company.
