The Company announces that, on 20 February 2009, 50,000 Ordinary shares of 25 pence each were sold at a premium from its Treasury account for cash at a price of 426.5 pence per share.

Following the above sale, the Company holds a total of 1,777,000 Ordinary shares in treasury.

The total number of Ordinary shares in issue excluding treasury shares is 64,639,458.
