MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK


On 27 April 2004 Murray Income Trust PLC purchased for cancellation 10,840 of
its own ordinary shares at 446p per share.

Following the transaction the Company's issued ordinary share capital is
69,804,618 ordinary shares of 25p each.
