MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK

On 6 August 2008 Murray Income Trust plc purchased 28,000 ordinary shares at 547.6 pence per share. These shares will be held in treasury. Following the transaction, the Company's share capital will comprise:

64,589,458 Issued Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares) 

1,827,000 Ordinary shares held in treasury

66,416,458 Issued Ordinary shares (including treasury shares)
