Please note the following alterations to the announcement released on 02/01/2008
The number of ordinary shares of 25p held in treasury should be noted as
'1,551,800' replacing the previously incorrect figure of '430,925'

MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK
On 2 January 2008 Murray Income Trust plc purchased 50,000 of its own 25p
ordinary shares at 643.5 pence per share. These shares will be held in
treasury.
Following the transaction, the Company's issued ordinary share capital is
64,864,658 (excluding treasury shares) and 66,416,458 (including treasury
shares) ordinary shares of 25p each.
The number of ordinary shares of 25p held in treasury is 1,551,800.
