Transaction in Own Shares

MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK


On  1  April 2005, Murray Income Trust PLC purchased for cancellation 24,000  of
its own ordinary shares at 513.97 pence per share.

Following  the  transaction  the  Company's issued  ordinary  share  capital  is
68,084,826 ordinary shares of 25p each.
