Amendment to announcement 8559k: Please note the following alterations to the
announcement released on 31/12/2007


The number of ordinary shares of 25p held in treasury should be noted as '
1,501,800' replacing the previously incorrect figure of '380,925'


The announcement now reads as follows:


MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK


On 31 December 2007 Murray Income Trust plc purchased 7,300 of its own 25p
ordinary shares at 641.3151 pence per share.  These shares will be held in
treasury.


Following the transaction, the Company's issued ordinary share capital is
64,914,658 (excluding treasury shares) and 66,416,458 (including treasury
shares) ordinary shares of 25p each.


The number of ordinary shares of 25p held in treasury is 1,501,800.
