Aberdeen Asset Management PLC announces in conformity with the Transparency
Directive's transitional provision 6 we would like to notify the market of the
following:




Murray Income Trust PLC consists of 65,202,958 ordinary 25p shares with voting
rights.  Murray Income Trust holds 1,213,500 ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Murray Income is 65,202,958.

The above figure (65,202,958) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Murray Income under the
FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
