MURRAY INTERNATIONAL TRUST PLC (THE "COMPANY")

The Board of Murray International Trust PLC announces that 1,997 new Ordinary shares of 25p were issued on 24 June 2011 under the Company's Ordinary share Blocklisting facility as a result of the conversion of 1,997 B Ordinary shares of 25p into 1,997 Ordinary shares of 25p each in the period to 23 June 2011.

The converted shares rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares of 25p each.

Following this issue of shares, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue is 106,408,326 and the number of B Ordinary shares in issue is 851,743 with each Ordinary and B Ordinary share holding one voting right.  Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 107,260,069 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
