MURRAY INTERNATIONAL TRUST PLC (THE 'COMPANY')

The Board of Murray International Trust PLC announces that 70,632 new Ordinary shares of 25p were issued on 30 June 2009 under the Company's Ordinary share Blocklisting facility as a result of the conversion of 70,632 B Ordinary shares of 25p into 70,632 Ordinary shares of 25p each in the period to 23 June 2009.

The converted shares rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary shares of 25p each. 

Following the above issue there are 92,234,624 Ordinary shares of 25p each in issue and 1,066,236 B Ordinary shares of 25p each in issue.
