Issue of Equity

The Company announces that, on 6 May 2011, 40,500 new Ordinary shares of 25 pence each were issued for cash at a price of 931.9422 pence per share under its Ordinary share block listing facility.

Following this issue of shares, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue is 105,059,329 and the number of B Ordinary shares in issue is 840,584 with each Ordinary and B Ordinary share holding one voting right.  Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 105,899,913 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
