MURRAY INTERNATIONAL TRUST PLC

The Company announces that it has entered into a new £40,000,000 multi currency facility (the 'Facility') with Barclays Bank plc. Under the terms of the facility JPY 1.9 bn has been drawn down today to repay an existing loan facility that expired on 4 June 2008. On 30 June 2008 a further JPY 6.3256 bn will be drawn down under the Facility, of which JPY 2.25 bn will be used to repay an existing facility that expires on 30 June 2008 and the remainder will be invested in accordance with the investment objective of the Company.
