Aberdeen Asset Management PLC announces in conformity with the Transparency
Directive's transitional provision 6 we would like to notify the market of the
following:





Murray International Trust PLC consists of 86,583,992 ordinary 25p shares and
1,092,806 B ordinary shares with voting rights.  Murray International holds nil
ordinary shares in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Murray International is
87,676,798.

The above figure (87,676,798) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Murray International under
the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
