Directorate Changes

The Directors of Millfield Group plc ("Millfield"), a leading independent
financial services advisory group, today announces the immediate appointment of
Mike Walmsley, aged 62, to the Board as Non-Executive Director.

Mike Walmsley is currently Operations Director of Polestar Ltd, the largest
printer in the United Kingdom and between 1993 and 1998 he was Managing Director
of the CCM Division of St Regis Paper Ltd.

In addition, Millfield also announces the immediate appointment of Darrell
Smith, aged 42, as Sales Director for the North. Darrell is also a Director of
Millfield Partnership Ltd and other Group subsidiaries.

Following the changes, the Millfield Board will comprise six Executive and two
Non-Executive Directors.
