Results for the year ended 31 March 2005

Millfield Group plc confirms that it will announce its results for the year
ended 31 March 2005 no later than Tuesday 6 September 2005.

The successful sale of Millfield's 25% interest in Lifetime Group Limited to
Norwich Union Life Investment Partnership earlier this month and the recent
appointment of a new interim finance director have lead to a slight delay in
announcing the results which had been scheduled for the end of August.
