Evolutec Group plc (the 'Company')

 Shareholding Notification

The Company announces that it has today received notification that Kisco Limited ('Kisco'), headquartered in Osaka, Japan, purchased 3,156,276 Ordinary Shares in the Company on 18th March 2009, 2,348,571 of which were purchased from Active Capital Trust Plc and 807,705 of which were purchased from Bluehone AIM VCT 2 Plc.  As a result of these transactions Active Capital Trust Plc and Bluehone AIM VCT 2 Plc no longer have a beneficial interest in the capital of the Company. Kisco now holds a total of 3,156,276 Ordinary Shares representing 12.16 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company.
