National Grid accepts Ofgem's proposals for UK Transmission System Operator
Price Control and incentives under NETA
National Grid Company has today written to Ofgem to accept the regulator's
final proposals for the UK Transmission System Operator Price Control and '
Option 4' of the incentive schemes under the New Electricity Trading
Arrangements. This follows National Grid's acceptance, on 9 October 2000, of
Ofgem's final proposals for the Transmission Price Control which covered the
Transmission Owner activity.
Acceptance of the final proposals is subject to agreement between National
Grid and Ofgem on the detailed amendments to the Transmission Licence needed
to bring these proposals into force.
