            National Grid Reviews Ofgem's Price Control Proposals

National Grid is reviewing Ofgem's final proposals for the Transmission Price
Control Review.  It will consider them in conjunction with Ofgem's initial
proposals for the System Operator role, also published today.  The company
has until 27th October to decide whether to accept.
