National Grid Group plc ('National Grid')
It is with great regret that National Grid announces that
Group Director Wob Gerretsen died unexpectedly on 19 October 2000
in the UK. He was 58 years old. He became a director of
National Grid in 1995, and was responsible for the company's
Latin American operations.
National Grid Group Chief Executive David Jones said:
'We are all shocked and deeply saddened by this news.
Wob was a friend and a colleague to all of us here and he
will be sorely missed. Our sympathies go to Wob's family.'
