              National Grid Transco Holds Seminar on UK Operations

National Grid Transco plc is today holding a seminar for investors and analysts
on its UK operations. The seminar will provide an opportunity to meet the UK
management team and to receive an update on UK Transmission, UK Distribution and
the non-regulated businesses.
