The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc
Joint bookrunning lead managers Goldman Sachs International,
Merrill Lynch International and UBS Warburg are pleased to announce the
pricing of the secondary offering of Additional Value Shares in The Royal Bank
of Scotland Group plc. The Additional Value Shares are being offered at
£0.786070, which together with stamp duty/stamp duty reserve tax of
£0.003930 represents a total amount payable of £0.79.
An announcement from The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc relating to the
proceeds payable to Ordinary Shareholders who elected to sell their
Additional Value Shares through the Selling Facility will be made on or
before 5 July 2000.
