NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND ANNUAL REPORT AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

Northumbrian Water Group plc (the 'Company') announces that its Annual General Meeting will be held at 12 noon on Thursday 28 July 2011 in the Bishops Suite, Ramside Hall Hotel & Golf Club, Carrville, Durham DH1 1TD.

The Annual report and financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2011, Notice of Annual General Meeting and Form of Proxy were posted to shareholders on 27 June 2011.

These documents have been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism ("NSM") and will shortly be available for inspection on the NSM's website at www.hemscott.com/nsm.do
