Notification of Directors' and PDMR Interests in Shares
The Company was advised on 2 May 2006 by the trustee of the Northumbrian Water
Group plc Share Incentive Plan (the Plan) that on 2 May 2006 it purchased 589
ordinary 10 pence shares in the Company ("Ordinary shares") at 254.5 pence per
share on behalf of each of John Cuthbert (Director), Chris Green (Director) and
Ceri Jones (PDMR).
In addition, pursuant to the rules of the Plan Mr Cuthbert, Mr Green and Mr
Jones were each granted a further 196 Ordinary shares for nil consideration.
Following these purchases and grants Mr Cuthbert has an interest in 103,565
Ordinary shares, Mr Green has an interest in 68,565 Ordinary shares and Mr Jones
has an interest in 7,998 Ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.020%,
0.013% and 0.001% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company
respectively.
