AMENDMENT
The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc ('the Group')
Iain Samuel Robertson
On 3 June 1999, the Group granted options to staff, allowing them to participate
in the Employee Sharesave Scheme. In accordance with the Yellow Book Listing
Rules, Section 16.13, we duly notified yourselves of the increase in one of our
Directors, Mr Robertson's share interests, relating to the grant of options to
purchase 466 ordinary shares of 25p each.
It has now been brought to our attention that the information provided by our
Registrars, Computershare Service plc, was incorrect as they had provided us
with the details for one of our Subsidiary Company Directors, Mr Iain Leith
Robertson, and not as requested, Mr Iain Samuel Robertson.
