                        INVESTORS & ANALYSTS SITE VISIT

Northumbrian Water Group plc which, through Northumbrian Water Limited ("NWL"),
provides water and sewerage services in the north east and south east of
England, today announces that it is hosting a visit for investors and analysts
to see a range of NWL's operations in Essex.

During this visit, presentations will be given on these operations and on issues
facing the water industry. A copy of the presentations will be placed on the web
site (www.nwg.co.uk) on 14 March 2007.
