                           Notice of Interim Results


Northumbrian Water Group plc ("NWG") will be announcing its interim results on 7
December 2004, for the period from 1 April to 30 September 2004.

At that time, the Board will also announce its interim dividend. The dividend
will be paid on 4 February 2005 to shareholders on the register on 24 December
2004.
