Appointment of Director

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of David Staples as an independent non-executive Director of the Board with effect from 14 June 2018. In accordance with the Company's Articles, Mr Staples will offer himself for election at the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held in June 2019.

David Staples

Mr Staples was a partner for thirteen years with PricewaterhouseCoopers ("PwC") and led the tax practice in the South East of England, advising several large family and owner-managed businesses. He was also a member of the management board of the firm's London and South East Middle Markets Tax Practice. Since leaving PwC in 2003, Mr Staples has joined the boards of several listed companies as a non-executive director (see present and former positions below) and his other current appointments include directorships of the general partners of five private equity funds managed by Apax Partners.

Mr Staples, a resident in Guernsey, is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He also holds the Institute of Directors' Diploma in Company Direction and has been granted a personal fiduciary licence by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
