The Company announces that today it has issued for cash, subject to listing, 12,114,891 new US Dollar shares in the Company at a price of 1.002 dollars per share ("New Shares").

The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Application has been made for the New Shares to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.  It is expected that dealings in the New Shares will commence at 8.00 a.m. on 29 July 2011.

Following this issue of shares, the total number of Sterling shares in issue is 236,852,782 and the total number of US Dollar shares in issue is 133,263,812.  Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 512,228,263 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
