NCC Group plc has today been advised that, as at 26 January 2006, Morgan Stanley
Securities Limited ('MSSL') holds an interest in 3,013,784 ordinary shares in
the Company which represents approximateley 9.24% of its issued ordinary share
capital.


MSSL is a member of the Morgan Stanley group of companies. Those group companies
which are direct or indirect holding companies of MSSL are, under the terms of
section 203 of the Companies Act 1985, each interested by attribution in any
shares in which MSSL is interested.
