Re Directorate
Further to the Board changes and restructuring update made on January 16th 2004,
the Group confirms that Roy Smith, Chief Executive Officer, has today resigned
from the company, following the resolution of litigation with RTI and with the
new organisation fully operational.
Commenting on the announcement, Tony Fletcher, Chairman of NMT, said:-
'I would like to thank Roy Smith for the endeavour and effort he put into NMT
over the 4 years he was with the company. I wish him well in the future and
thank him for the support and counsel he provided, in particular over the
difficult decisions made at the end of 2003 on the Groups' future strategy '
