             NMT RECEIVES FIRST ORDER FROM LEADING UK DISTRIBUTOR

NMT Group PLC, the UK manufacturer of safe medical devices, has secured its
first stocking order from one of the UK's leading medical device distributors,
Hospital Management & Supplies (HM&S), to distribute the NMT Safety Syringe
throughout the UK National Health Service.

HM&S is a highly experienced supplier across a range of medical devices
offering a first class service to hospitals throughout the UK. Their ability
to supply quickly to a broad customer base could facilitate rapid expansion of
the NMT range of safety products throughout the UK market.

In addition, NMT has received its first stocking order from Parle and Hickey
of the Republic of Ireland. This distributor is particularly focused on
supplying the General Practitioner market, which is a key segment for the
provision of syringes within the Republic.

Commenting on the above, CEO Roy Smith said, 'Whilst legislation in the USA
now mandates the use of safe needle devices, opportunities outside the States
should not be under-estimated. The purchase of our products from these two
leading distributors augers very well for future growth in our domestic
markets.'
