NETCALL plc
At the Annual General Meeting of the Company held today
all resolutions were passed.
In response to specific questions the Chairman Jeffrey
Rubins answered as follows:-
1. Interest in the Netcall Classified model continues
to build. Jobs 4 U, which provides Internet and
Newspaper response services, will be launching its
service in regional newspapers early in the New Year.
2. This pay by results model is also being successfully
trialed on the web by autotrader.co.uk with 24 dealers
currently piloting the system. Autotrader have informed
Netcall that it is their intention to offer a similar
service to their customers in France, Belgium and
Holland.
The Board is pleased to announce that Netcall has
acquired an option over a 20% equity holding in All 4 U
Ltd, owners of Jobs 4 U and allied brands, to be
exercised on or before 31st December 2000. Should
Netcall exercise this option a consideration of £1
million will become payable, to be settled by the issue
of 400,000 Netcall shares.
