Board Changes
The Board of Netcall is delighted to announce that it has
appointed Caroline Anne Brown (37) as Director and Chief
Financial Officer, with effect from 12 June 2000. Dr
Brown has been a director of corporate finance at UBS and
HSBC Investment Bank and has 14 years' experience in
financial markets. Her responsibilities have included
origination, structuring and execution of advisory, M&A
and financing transactions in the UK and internationally.
Most recently, she has managed and led multidisciplinary
teams in the energy sector and focused on oil & gas,
electrical utility and petrochemicals companies
worldwide. She holds an MBA from the City University
Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Prior to her financial career, Dr Brown took a PhD and MA
in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
David Rothschild, Chief Executive of Netcall, commented:
'We are delighted that Caroline has decided to join
Netcall. She brings to the Board a wealth of
international corporate finance experience, which can
only enhance Netcall's ability to achieve its ambitions.'
Netcall also announces that David Robson will be stepping
down from the Main Board with immediate effect but will
continue as Market Development Director of NetCall
Telecom Limited, the Group's chief operating subsidiary.
It is Mr Robson's intention within the next three months
to leave the Group to establish a new venture involving
the use and promotion of Netcall's technology.
Jeffrey Rubins, Chairman of Netcall, commented:
'Whilst we are sorry to lose David, we are delighted that
he will be continuing his relationship with the Company
and wish him every success in his new venture.'
