EGM RESULTS

The Directors are pleased to announce that all of the resolutions proposed at
the EGM today were passed and that the placing announced on 8 November 2000
will proceed.

Pursuant to the placing announced on 8 November 2000, the Directors have
allotted and issued fully paid for cash 6,686,450 new ordinary shares at a
price of 70p each today. Application has been made to the Alternative
Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange to admit these shares to
dealings and it is anticipated that dealings in these shares will commence
tomorrow, 5 December 2000.
