Purchase of own shares
Netcall plc (AIM: NET) a leading provider of end to end customer engagement software solutions, announces that, in accordance with the terms of its general authority to make market purchases of its own shares granted to it by shareholders on 19 November 2012, it acquired 892,857 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") on 19 December 2012 for cash. The Purchase was made at 28p per Ordinary Share.
The Ordinary Shares acquired will be held in treasury and are expected to be applied in part to satisfy the equity element of the performance related consideration due to the vendors of the issued share capital of Serengeti Systems Ltd, acquired by Netcall as announced on 25 September 2012.
The Company advises that, following the Purchase of Ordinary Shares, the Company's share capital is 122,347,826 Ordinary Shares (including 1,869,181 Ordinary Shares held as treasury shares). Therefore the Company's total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights is 120,478,645.
The above figure of 120,478,645 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
