These share purchases form a part of the share buyback programme of up to an aggregate purchase price of USD 100 million announced on 11 August 2022 (the "Buyback Programme"). The Buyback Programme, which started on 15 August 2022, is based on the authorisation granted by the Company's Annual General Meeting on 19 May 2022.
The shares purchased on the Trade Date above will be cancelled. Following the cancellation, the Company holds 5,000,000 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 534,463,306 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares), which corresponds to the total number of voting rights.
This figure for the total number of voting rights may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
