Acquisition of Gunnebo Security Installations
Newmark Security plc (AIM:NWT), a leading provider of electronic and physical security systems, is pleased to announce that on 1 November 2013, its subsidiary company, Safetell Limited ("Safetell") has acquired the business of Gunnebo Security Installations ("GSI"), a division of Gunnebo UK Limited.
The purchase consideration totals £118,000, is payable in cash and mainly comprises the value of inventory and tools acquired.
GSI is a leading provider of bullet resistant and anti-attack security screens, counterwork, security doors, security glazing, cash scoops, night pay hatches and other bespoke physical security products.
Marie-Claire Dwek, Newmark CEO said, "Gunnebo UK Limited will continue to promote and sell the GSI product range to its customer base while the project management and installation activities will be handled by Safetell. This strategic partnership will benefit Gunnebo's valued customers and improve the quality and range of products and services, whilst Safetell will pursue new marketing opportunities with an expanded product range back by an experienced team."
