Contracts signed with two leading global retailers

Newmark Security plc (AIM:NWT), a leading provider of electronic and physical security systems, is pleased to announce that it has, through its subsidiary Grosvenor Technology ("Grosvenor"), signed contracts with two leading global retailers to supply integrated Time and Attendance ("T&A") solutions.

The first contract will see Grosvenor supply T&A solutions to one of the retailers across 1,500 of its stores worldwide and this is expected to be worth a minimum of €850,000 over a period of three years.  The second contract is to supply the other global retailer with 1,000 terminals over the next twelve months and the value of this contract is estimated at £200,000.  In the larger of the two contracts, the specific technology used is the flagship OEM CUSTOM IT31 terminals together with Grosvenor's CUSTOM Exchange middleware software. The smaller contract is to supply Grosvenor's OEM CUSTOM RS21 terminals which particularly suited the lower functionality requirement and the more cost sensitive market for which they will be employed.

Grosvenor, as a leading provider of state of the art access control, security and data acquisition systems, will supply the T&A terminal solution in order to help the retailers to gain deeper and more accurate information on exact staff working patterns. Grosvenor's technology will aid staff cost optimisation, minimisation of schedule administration and promote increased salary reporting.

Maurice Dwek, Chairman of Newmark Security plc, said: "It is a fantastic endorsement of Grosvenor's security and attendance systems that organisations of the scale and professionalism of these two global retailers have selected our product to be integrated across their stores.  The partnerships will enable us to work with them to tailor the systems and ensure the data delivers exactly the information that the companies and their employees need to run even more efficiently and deliver enhanced quality."
