NewRiver is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Karen Miller as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 30 May 2022.
Dr Karen Miller is affiliated to the Department of Engineering, Cambridge University and is Co-Director of Cambridge Sustainability Programme and a Non-Executive Director Member of Challenge Board, Buckingham Palace Reservicing Programme. Karen is a sustainability expert with a proven track record of leading transformation in the built environment which will support the ambitions of our environmental sustainability strategy.
Following this appointment, the Board of NewRiver will be comprised of Baroness Ford OBE (Non-Executive Chairman), Alastair Miller (Senior Independent Non-Executive Director), Kay Chaldecott (Independent Non-Executive Director), Colin Rutherford (Independent Non-Executive Director), Allan Lockhart (Chief Executive Officer), Will Hobman (Chief Financial Officer), Charlie Parker (Independent Non-Executive Director) and Dr Karen Miller (Independent Non-Executive Director).
Baroness Ford OBE, Non-Executive Chairman, NewRiver commented: "I am delighted to welcome Karen to the Board. NewRiver will benefit not only from her sustainability expertise but also from her extensive commercial background in retailing."
Dr Karen Miller will also be a member of the NewRiver Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
The Company confirms that there is no further information relating to Karen that requires disclosure under Listing Rule 9.6.13.
